I'm taking this class, Culture and Identity in the American Society after being recommended by my friend. So far it has been very interesting.

We're studying Benjamin Franklin. He found electricity and he's also an arrogant writer. He produced an article, The Way to Wealth and profused the article with proverbs. He quoted himself in that article... hahaaa...

Let me tell you the things that I find very interesting. 'God helps them who help themselves'. He claimed that it's from his idea. A lot of people thought that this proverb is from the Bible but it isn't. According to my prof, it's B. Franklin's. I would have to say no. If I'm not mistaken, I've learnt this since I was little. Didn't we learn 'Tuhan tidak menubah nasib sesuatu kaum, sekiranya mereka tidak berusaha mengubah nasib mereka sendiri'(thanks to Fatin who helped me remember this sentence... hehe). I guess, perhaps B. Franklin came up with that specific sentence which can be used as a proverb in english, but I think people have learned this and heard of it from years and years ago from the Quran. Perhaps he should not have been so arrogant... hehe...

I can't get my sleep schedule back to normal. Blame it on the card games! haha.. now I really can't sleep at night.. I forced myself to be awake during the day so that I'd be tired enough to sleep at night but I guess maybe because I was too tired, I still can't sleep... arghhhhh... please let my sleep schedule go back to normal! I can't keep on not getting enough sleep! I would have to bug my parents again if I can't sleep tonight... aaaa

How's it going? Just got back home... spent my winter break at Florida and Delaware.. one week at Florida and 2 weeks at Ilo's place... good times... :)

Went to Flo with Ilo. Afif, Paan and 2 of their friends went to Flo also but we didn't really go to places with them. hahaa.. it was a lot of fun... surprisingly since there was only 2 of us... :)

yahhhh... trip to Delaware proved to be not a waste of money as I decided not to work for a week and stay as long as I can at UDel... hehee.. lotss of fun... at first there were only me and Ilo watching Korean dramas... then Zop got back from Europe and Ika n Zai came from Lehigh... hang out all night long until 9am playing cards... huhu... good game! we got to talk about some issues, gossips, play monopoly and more card games... haha... don't think we can do more of this once we start working... I wonder :D

I'm waiting for some pics from Ika's camera and I'll upload them to this silly blog.. haha... I don't really know what's becoming of this blog but for now I might keep it... aja!
