Hellooo...

No updates lately... nothing much... just summer classes... I'm taking Italian and so far so good.. here are a few things I learned that I can share with y'all..

Something useful for whoever who might go to Venice for example on your honeymoon,(hehe) if you sit at a table instead of at a bar, you have to pay because you are using their chair... bwahahaha... you can't even sit for free... So, don't get mad if you suddenly get a receipt for just sitting..

hmm... I'll be going to Midwest Games next week.. not playing anything, just sight seeing.. hehe... I'll get to meet my friends that I haven't seen for quite some time.. yeayea.. i can't wait..

Kak Ming and I

She's as hippie as Phoebe,

I was 2 minutes late, and you already left. I called and you're already in a cab. You cried and so did I. You left me with a year full of great memories and a room full of notes.

Thank you Kak Ming for being such a wonderful roommate, and helping me go through my rough times. I'm all alone in the house and everywhere I turn there are notes for me. Even when I've already decided to sit down and just think, I saw two more on the wall. Yes, I will brush my teeth, take a shower and shampoo and yes I will stop watching too much tv. It is one of the sweetest things anyone ever did for me and I thank you for that. I wonder how I can live alone in this room for summer, without you to chat and giggle with.

I'm sorry we didn't get to say our goodbyes but I'll definitely meet you in a little more than a month. Thanks for all the gifts and the words of wisdom that guided me through a year of my life, and I'm sorry for all the silly things I've done. These are the words that I would've said but I think it's better this way. Goodbye, I miss you greatly and goodbye...

Hi all,

:) I suddenly had the urge to write. I had a great great time at Malibu Grill tonight. Vicky decided to treat everyone in the house a lovely dinner since she got an A for her I-Core(thank you very much!). Luckily, I'm in the house at the right time so I get to join in... (hehee).

The most cutest, adorable and charming waiter served us. hahaa... I was so head over heels. hahaa.. I even know his name... Todd! Just nice! The hero's name I've always wanted. If any of you guys read Sweet Valley when you were little, you'd know! Liz's boyfriend. aaa... there was something about his eyes... theheheee

By the way, I wrote that I'll probably just sleep the past few days but it turns out, I woke up kind of early and went shopping everywhere with Kak Nik. We would go out at like 11 am and come back for Zuhur, then go out again and come back for Maghrib... heaven! I had to borrow Dot's bag because I need extra baggage for my extra clothes... :D Thus, I am officially broke...

Other than shopping, I also went to a salon today. It's so nice that they respect us for wearing hijab and use their back room to cut our hair. They were so nice and all but you know what, I FORGOT TO TIP! I even used a coupon for IU students and I forgot to tip. Kak Nik asked me in the car how much I tipped her and to my shock, I forgot to tippppp... The lady was veryyy niceee.. hmmm o well, guess I won't be going to that salon anymore.

Aaaa.. I'm sorry I haven't been updating. I've been really busy at IU. The dinner, the commencement, the concert and so on. I think I won't be as busy soon because their classes are starting and I'll probably be sleeping all the time.

Thanx Kak Myn for sending me to the airport! She insisted to send me even though I told her not to. We hung out for the last time at Eat n Park the night before.

The dinner and the commencement was fun. The graduates got really bored because of the long speeches. So, they played volleyball while sitting using beach balls. No one was really concentrating to the speeches.

Last night, I went to Simple Plan and Good Charlotte's concert with Dot and Fairuz. I'm not a big fan of them but I do know a few songs. Their concert was energetic. Everyone was jumping and screaming and crying! I went to Justin and Christina Aguilera's concert some time ago but I guess because of their type of songs, it was not as lively.

Unfortunately, I couldn't bring my camera in. I have some pictures in my cell phone but I think Fairuz can send me the ones she took using her fancy cell. I'll post some later.

When I got out of the concert, I heard myself talking like a cartoon! My ears were soar from the loud music. We sat very close to the side of the stage. I even felt like my heart was about to fall!

One more thing, even though I'm far away from campus, I still have a group project due. It was almost done but needs a few touch ups. If y'all want to look at it, this is the address(Group 17's Design Project). It's not all that fancy. I just submitted it in on May 8th.
