mobiBLU
Saturday, September 24, 2005

I guess the only thing that succeeded to keep me awake right now, is shoppinggg... Check this mobiBLU. I saw this really cute 'World's smallest mp3 Player... 1 GB and 1 inch cube!' Well, just look at it! It's $129.90 and are sold in Walmart. The battery lasts for up to 10 hours (more impressive than my ipod). It's available in 6 colors, black, white, orange, indigo, pink and red... sooo cute! Why am I advertising this?? I want to go to Walmart and hold them! I don't think it'll be easy to navigate since it's too small and the songs have to be compressed as mp3 or WMA. Other than listening to your songs, you can also listen to radio stations and record your voice. It has a clock display and a timer. You can check it out at cnet. Finally, a cute device for me to listen to Kiss FM... not like I'm going to buy any, heheee...

Did you guys know, Daniel won Malaysian Idol 2? What happened? Whattttttttt???

Woke up this 'morning', and Nani n Faten were already cooking Nasi Ayam.. yummyyyy... :) We had this conversation about Malaysian traditional songs. I don't really consider Siti's songs as traditional. Big sorry for Siti's fans out there. The 'traditional' songs right now seems like it all came from Jawa, Indonesia... hehe.. When I think of traditional, I mean P. Ramlee and Saloma's songs or S. Jibeng n stuff. The kind that soothes. Have you guys ever heard of Ketipang Payung? I find that song very soothing. I love it! I'm sorry I can't put it up on the site but you can listen to it on this website, Senandung Silam and you'll need Real Player to listen to it.

The dance choreography is great. They dance very smoothly and there's always a formation. My dad told me when P. Ramlee were making movies back then, everyone would stay at this same place to practise and they would practise day and night to get it right. That's why if you see the dancings in old Malay movies, they were perfect.

All in all... I think Malay singers who want to sing traditional songs, should look back to the 50s, 60s or the 70s.

Not so yeppy day
Saturday, September 17, 2005

I am soooooooooooooooooooo sleepy... and I still have 7 hours and 28 minutes left to work... heheh... forgive me if the next few sentences or paragraphs are crap... :D

I want to give my opinion about sth but I haven't figured out what that sth might be... hehe... so I'll just talk about my family. All of a sudden I'm missing them... (not like I never miss them eh!) I guess bcoz everyone is going everywhere and I haven't had the time to talk to them frequently... My mom will be going to somewhere in Chiang Mai(for work) and I won't be able to talk to her for 2 weeks and my sister is joining the Kelana Convoy for her ultimate Europe tour which would probably take 2 weeks or more. I guess it's the mixed feelings of being stuck here, not being able to call and not being able to travel with.

Today is just a not-so-good day for me(I should really count my blessings!). I had to settle some errands and most of them didn't go as planned. Have you guys ever felt like the whole world is turning against you? hehe... one of my unhappy entries, obviously. (I wonder why these last 2 Fridays didn't work for me(a better term than suck... hehe))

Thus, I'm just going to stop here for now and when I'm in a better mood, I'll write... love y'all... daaaaaaaa

PS:This can really cheer u up... that is if u're as bummed as me. Nani found this at
Beautiful Atrocities (some of them are really funny, but true...!).I mixed the funny ones with the mundane ones, just so that you won't get overwhelmed). This blogger is hilarious. He picked some of the interesting Qs from ask-the-imam.

PSS:One more thing, I really hate the pop-up and I've updated my tag-board. The pop-up will stop in a few weeks. Please bear with it... :( sorry... okay, I'm going to stop now.

TB test
Friday, September 09, 2005

I'm feeling very yucky today... one after another disasters come to me...

My computer had some problems but I'm in the process of fixing it.. I don't know if I'll lost all my precious files in it or not...

Then, today i had to take a TB test for a work I'm doing and a nurse totally scared me by saying that since I'm tested positive, I can't take the test anymore or my hand will sorta clump and fall('melenyut kot')... that terribly2 scared me til I cried and called my instructor and told her about it. She confirmed to me that it was actually an exaggeration.

After feeling better, I checked online and as far as I read, there can be side effects if I were ever to get the test again but it won't be too bad. At least I hope. It can cause worse reactions like a swollen hand. But I was comforted to hear that Malaysia do not have such tests because we all had BCG. I told the nurse I've had BCG, I don't know why they should be silly enough to even give me the test. Well even if it's a policy, it's gonna give me a hard time to remember I've had that test. What if I'm 80 years old and forgetful and all hunchback, will I remember the test I took when I was 21? I'm sure gonna keep the record in many many different places.

I guess I'll just stay in M'sia. There goes my choice of man... hehe
