Merdeka... merdeka... merdeka!

If you didn't notice, on that building, there are a lot of Malaysian flags put up vertically. I don't know the name of the building but it's situated in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, close to the Padang Merdeka.

31st August 1957 was Malaysia's independence day when we got it from the British. So, today I'm celebrating it by going to class at 2.30 pm... nyehahahha... all my other classes are cancelled since it's the first week and there is no need to have labs. Wowwie...

I'll put the many re-orientation pics in my fotopages as soon as I get more pics from my friends... love y'all, bye!

So much to tell... I'll write about my reorientation program and the many relatives who came to my house... but first... these are the cutest gals in the whole wide world!

Assalamualaikum and hi,

I am actually busy packing but realizing I haven't updated my blog for so long, here goes my story...

I went to Port Dickson with my ATU Petronas Indiana. Only 9 of us came (Mizi, Maz, Aliah, Anas, Ikram, Ilo, Arip, Add and me) and we only stayed there one night. The resort was beautiful! I will definitely upload the pics to my fotopages when I'm back in the US.

The day before we went to PD, Ikram picked up Add at the airport and Ilo at the bus station. After that, we all met at Carrefour. We went shopping at Subang Parade and then bought things for our barbecue the night after. We marinated all the meats at my place and the three of them had dinner with my family. My mom got all excited when Ikram could talk about Corelle and Royal Albert... hahaha... Add and Ilo slept at my place for one night.

The next morning everyone had breakfast at Ikram's place. His parents' house is sooooooooo nice! Me likey! Bali style! So, from there we went to PD. We swam at the pool, walked at the beach and barbecued at night. I beat Anas in Monopoly (as usual... nyehahahahah) and celebrated Maz's birthday.

Add stayed at my house a few days after the trip and on Sunday, Maz held an open house. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling very well so everyone had to put up with my constant sneezes.

The next week, I went to Penang, Perak, Kedah and Thailand with my parents! My mom had an outstation to those states and since we have relatives living in Pengkalan Hulu, we went to Betong, Thailand to have lunch and shop a bit.

aaaaaaaaa... I'm sure y'all are bored already... heheheheh... so, tomorrow I'm going to Petronas Reorientation Program for 2 weeks. 3 days at Baling, 3 days at Kerteh and a week at Hulu Selangor. I'll tell you all about that insyaAllah. For now, I'm sure going to miss Mawi. I will miss the final concert!!! grrrr... hehe.. okay... bye2!
