Let me explain about my design project, so that everyone can share my pain... hehehe

This is the project...



We are supposed to create a lifting mechanism to lift 1 pound of weight. We get to use a servo, a bunch of gears and lots of aluminium strips to build that stupid machine.

The machine is supposed to be able to go through a hole while a lifting arm connected to the machine should raise the weight.

This is the 'dungeon'...




As you can see... there are two holes. We can use any one hole. The weight is in front of the big hole but the place to clamp the base of our project is at the back of the small hole. Thus, whatever hole we choose, we still have to build the project having some connected arms.

THE PROBLEM IS... as we've finished building and everything, we have a lifting motion BUT it does not lift the weight... crap...

And now every day I just work with my lab partner, Fatmata, in the lab to rebuild the parts of our project that's not stiff enough and somehow change the position of the servo to make the project works.

Well, all I can hope for right now, is a brighter future. At this moment, things have not gone really well for me... but I guess I can just keep on praying and keep on striving for whatever sunshine's left for me.

At least, it's spring...
